Easter

We enjoyed another beautiful Easter weekend this year!  On Saturday we headed to Sulphur for Mimi and Bumpy's annual family get together.  Just as always, we had a fantastic time!
These two were side by side the entire day!
And these two had a pretty big time together too!
After about an hour of the kids running around and playing I realized that my kids are finally at the age where I can sit and have fairly long conversations with people without having to keep my eye on them every minute and them not needing/wanting me to be right by them.  Of course the abundance of cousins to play with certainly helped, but it was so nice just to sit back and relax!
Uncle B and Hannah played a little Horse!
My cousin Matthew and his little boy!
Complete sweetness waiting on the grown-ups to hide the eggs!
The required cousin picture before they can start hunting eggs!
Meg was upset and confused when hunting eggs.  She only wanted to find the eggs that we brought.  It was so funny.  She knew what prizes were in there and she wanted those and didn't want anyone else getting "her" eggs!
He knows how to hunt some eggs!  And he didn't like the nice outfit I picked out for him and chose instead to wear one of the tackier shirts he has!
After everyone left these two had fun playing swords in the rain!
We headed home from Sulphur Saturday night so the kids could be at home on Easter morning.  They were pleasantly surprised to find Easter baskets filled with goodies that morning and enjoyed watching "Hop" as we got ready for church.
I thought they looked so cute in their matching outfits!
And I liked it even more that I happened to have a dress that matched too!
And of course Bryson happened to have a navy tie.  Love these 3!
After church we headed up north to Twin Hills.  We had never been to one of their holiday activities so we weren't sure what to expect, but it was all so much fun and so relaxing!
 She loves the Easter Bunny!
He loved the sword that the Shriner clowns made him.
And it was even better that he found someone to run around and play swords with.  He is at the age where he happily plays with any kid remotely his age and will go up and ask other kids to play with him.  That's a big step for him!
 Ready to find some eggs!
There was a lot of competition
Meg had a little better luck in the "baby" group than Brody did in the big kid group!
 Getting another sword made!
Then we headed inside for dinner.  This little miss wasn't too hungry after eating so much candy!
 She loved the clowns too!

Every time the kids ask to do a goofy picture I remember that I am about the most boring person ever.  I can never think of anything to do.  Looks at everyone else in my family.  It's instant.  They can do a silly pose.  Not me.  My goal is to find a silly pose real soon!
