Last Two Days of Colorado Springs....

On Sunday afternoon Bumpy noticed that his car was driving a little funny. He thought it would be best to get it checked out Monday morning the day we were supposed to be leaving. It ended up needing to be repaired which meant me, Brody, and Bumpy would get to spend one extra night in Colorado Springs. I was actually happy to stay an extra night and was very thankful to realize the car had a problem while we were still in Colorado Springs rather than in the middle of nowhere headed home!

Mimi, Bryson, and Meg didn't have to head out for their flight until late that afternoon so we were able to drive into Manitou Springs and do a little shopping. The kids were thrilled to find an awesome outdoor arcade right by where we were doing our shopping! Bumpy and Bryson were nice enough to keep sticking quarters in the machines while Mimi and I did some quick shopping!

I had never seen so many ride on toys in one place!
Yee-haw!

A few last pictures from a most amazing vacation!!!

These two love their Mimi and Bumpy and they made it so much easier traveling and so much more fun too!

Look Alikes!
The best part of staying an extra night was getting to have breakfast out on the patio with my little man. The views were breathtaking and I soaked up my alone time with him. We were even able to squeeze in one more swim at the pool before the car was ready around noon. We drove straight through and it was a pretty long trip. Our stops were few and very quick. I drove until we reached Amarillo and then Bumpy took over. There were a few times that he looked at how fast I was going and asked if I knew what the speed limit was. Yes I did, but I didn't care. Brody was a trooper playing with his toys and games/movies on the Ipad. We found a Redbox in Amarillo and picked up a couple of new movies and that's how he survived the last bit of the trip. He finally fell asleep when we passed Will Rogers Airport. Just couldn't make it home!

Our trip was one of my favorites ever. I think I would be happy going back there every single year!
