She is like her daddy....

There are so many things that Meg does that make me think she is just like her daddy. How much she sweats, the obvious physical similarities, how she loves to be around people and gets so much energy from it, and how she loves to get a laugh. But nothing makes me thinks she is just like her daddy more than her love of dancing and how she loves to get attention from everyone.

Last Friday night me and the kids headed to Wynnewood for the Alumni Streetdance. Every other year they have an all school reunion which starts off with a softball game, then the streetdance that has a live band and moon bounces for the kids, on Saturday they have a golf tournament, the banquet, and then the after party! It's all a lot of fun but my favorite is the streetdance since the kids get to go. Brody spent about 3 straight hours in the moon bounces. At one point Mimi told him we was going to have a stroke if he didn't sit down and drink something (the poor kid had the reddest face ever and his hair was wet from sweat). So we finally got them to sit down and then the song they always play at weddings (everybody clap your hand/hands on your knees)....you know what I am talking about. Well Meg heard that song and saw the little girls going out to dance and she made a beeline to be a part of it. She watched them and tried to turn when they turned and did a little bouncing. It was precious and I couldn't believe how comfortable she was out there!

Hands on your knees. I know where my knees are....I can do that.

*Sidenote: Not sure what the random old people are doing out there. I thought it was a little weird too!
