Last week Mimi and Bumpy invited us down to spend the day with them at the lake. This is one of the things I love about not working is that I can go down to Sulphur during the week!
The kids went right to playing. I tried to take our stuff inside but Meg thought I was crazy. She knew the place to be was outside!
Bumpy decided that Meg was big enough to sit at the kids table for lunch. She was excited!
This sweetness didn't last
We turned around for a second and she was on the table. I love how Brody is yelling, "NO!". Needless to say she was banned from the kiddie table and go to eat her lunch in the highchair. It looks like Mimi is about to spank her with the spatula but she was just really in the middle of cooking!
Ready to head to the lake
Brody was so excited to ride the jet ski and loved it, but then all he wanted to do was swim, swim, swim!
I thought Meg would be content to play on the shore with her toys but I was very wrong. She wanted in the water. I really dislike lake water but I sucked it up and go in. The problem with Meg and the water is that she has no fear. She thinks she can swim. She wants me to let go of her. She also climbed all over the rocks around the edge of the water and got all skinned up! We played for about an hour and then I took her back for a nap!
But not before she got to enjoy a snack!
