Bull Rider

Bryson had been planning to take Brody to the PBR at the Ford Center last Saturday. He had a number of clients and their families that he was meeting there and Brody was excited about it! With the pneumonia we weren't sure if it was a good idea but he said he wanted to go if I would go too! Mom came up and watched Meg while we headed out! Brody enjoyed getting to sit in my lap uninterrupted for 2 hours and we all had a good time watching the bull riders and the hilarious rodeo clown! You can't see it in the picture above but he was wearing his cowboy belt that has his name on the back....so cute!

Brody continues to be such a little sweetie and is usually such a great helper and big brother! My favorite thing he does is after we read bedtime stories and recite our normal back and forth "snug as a bug in a rug", "sleep tight don't let the bugs bite" (yes...that is how he insists that I say it), etc. I always say, "You're my favorite boy in the whole world." And he sits up and says, "You're my favorite girl in the whole, whole, whole, whole, whole, whole, whole, WHOLE wide world." And that melts my heart everytime!
