Early last week Brody's teacher informed me that he would be getting a Character Award on Friday during their daily Rise and Shine assembly. I decided not to tell him and let it be a surprise!
It also happened to be their Fall Party which was a 50's theme! This picture cracks me up. Meg wanted to be in the picture and was so smiley and Brody didn't want her in the picture!
Much happier with Meg out of the picture!
You can barely see him all smushed together with his classmate!
When they were describing the award I could see his face light up wondering if maybe he would get it. He got a McDonald's coupon with it so he was super excited about that! He told me later that he didn't see that coming at all!
So proud of how well he acts at school. He is kind to others and listens to his teacher.
Then Meg and I headed back up to the school that afternoon for his party. It was crazy but they had a great time!
Meg and I were in charge of Freeze Dance. She danced non stop on the stage and Brody had a blast when it was finally his time to come to our station!
