So Brody has never been the best talker and at times we were concerned if he would ever catch up! Well, we aren't worried anymore! He has started to talk a lot more and many of the things he says we think are hilarious!
Recent things he has said....
1. "It's kind of dark"
In response to seeing the ultrasound picture of the baby
2. "Bryson"
He no longer calls Bryson daddy. Sometimes he will say "Bryson, Daddy", but never daddy.
3. "Daddy, your too big"
When he saw Bryson riding his stick horse!
4. "Mommy, rub my hair"
When he is trying to go to sleep
5. "Watch TV...NAP!"-
I actually have no idea what this means. He will say it over and over when he is trying to
go to sleep. I think it somehow comes from me saying no you can't watch tv, we are taking a
nap!
6. He has a toy phone that rings and says "Hi there, want to go out to play". All weekend he kept
saying yes and trying to convince me that his babysitter Annie was outside waiting on him to
play. This morning when it rang and asked him if wanted to go out to play he said, "No, it's
raining!"
7. "I tooted...excuse me" followed by lots of laughter
8. "Me eat tv mommy daddy bed"
He has discovered how neat it is to eat while watching TV in our bed. He even has a little TV
tray. I know this is a terrible habit, but it brings back happy memories from my own
childhood and how my mom always brought breakfast to us in our room every morning and
how Kena and I had little TV trays that we used!
I know there are so many others, but that is all Bryson and I can think of at this time of night! Hope you had a wonderful day!
