Getting Ready For Football SeasonAs you can see Brody is gearing up for the beginning of football season. This year we bought an extra ticket to the OU football games so that Brody can go to most of them with us. He has recently showed much more interest in sports than he previously did. He constantly switches between playing kickball, baseball, golf, football, and catching the basketball. It is cute to watch him and Bryson play together.
Swimming with Uncle Nick
We recently went to Cushing to spend the day with Uncle Nick. We had the opportunity to go swimming! We have been swimming on numerous occasions this summer, but Brody has always been somewhat on the timid side. But, on this particular day he couldn't get enough! He was swimming on his own (with his lifejacket on), jumping off the diving board, and going down the slide. He always seems to be more confident and willing to show off when his daddy is around!
Picture Perfect
Brody has always liked to have his picture taken, but here recently he has really started to pose and seem to eat up the attention. Below you can see some of my favorites of our little cutie!

Brody is growing so fast, and with another little one on the way, this will be a perfect way for all your friends and loved ones to keep up with Brody's growth and all the wonderful things you and Bryson are doing.
I am so proud of you all. You and Bryson are marvelous parents. And Brody...well there's not another kid on this planet that is as special as Brody. I enjoyed playing kick ball with Brody this afternoon, and putting together puzzles so that he could take them apart again. What fun!
