What makes Christmas so fun are all the activities that we do leading up to the big day. They are probably my favorite part!
We went back to our tradition of getting a real tree this year! It looked so good all wrapped up.
Then we realized it was huge! It was quite an experience getting it up and putting the lights and ornaments on it only to have it crash to the floor about an hour later. Thankfully Bryson got it all fixed up and it lasted until Christmas!
Joseph the Elf arrived and brought his friend Sweetie too!
We enjoyed a night out in Bricktown and had fun at Bass Pro Shop and then eating at KD's
Loved Brody's smile after he listed all of the stuff he wanted for Christmas and Santa asked him he had been good enough to get all that!
One Saturday morning when the boys were hunting Meg and I snuck off to Devon Saturdays with Santa and had just the best time! I love doing things individually with the kids.
She loves the Grinch and all things Dr. Suess so she was thrilled to meet him!
This was a magical year for Meg! She was just the perfect age for it all!
We had a little fun in the photo booth and I loved how our keepsake turned out!
We tried something new this year and I surprised the kids with tickets to the Polar Express! They were pretty excited and it didn't disappoint!
Waiting to board!
Love the little wink
And the reindeer face
Mimi was able to join us and that made it even more fun!
The conductor came by and checked each kids ticket!
It was just like the movie!
Impressive
And we enjoyed school parties!
A book exchange
All the little elves
I spearheaded the Christmas party for all the 3rd grade classes. It ended up being a lot of fun!
And my all time favorite activity each year is the Christmas lights in Chickasha! Joseph and Sweetie surprised us all by hiding in the car that day so they could tag along!
Daddy's shoulders are always the perfect place to hitch a ride!
Gran B joined us and we got there right before it opened and enjoyed a carriage ride. And then walked all through the park. It's always the perfect way to get us in the holiday spirit!
