During the week of Spring Break the kids were looking forward to their Papa coming to town! Papa made the long drive up from Florida and we were thrilled to have him stay with us for 3 nights! The kids loved every second of his visit and he was a trooper as the kids talked his ear off, climbed all over him like he was a human jungle gym, and happily joined the kids in all of the things they wanted to do!
We had pretty crummy weather so we had to spend most of our time indoors. We dyed Easter eggs, played games, and painted. We joined Bryson for lunch one afternoon and even ventured to the Science Musuem for what had to have been the busiest day in the history of the Science Museum. On our last morning together Brody finally got Papa to watch Soul Surfer with him and Bryson and Bruce couldn't hold the tears back. Such a good movie.
On his way to Dallas to see Aunt B he joined us in Sulphur for my mom and dad's Easter celebration.
We were all sad to see Papa leave but we are all looking forward to our visit to Florida in May where we will get to spend even more time with Papa and Nana!!!
