I think it is so funny some of the things that Meg does that Brody used to do. He was always very particular about having his blanket silky side up on his pillow and completely flat with no wrinkles. Meg has picked up on this too and I am not sure that she ever saw him do it!

Mom....wouldn't that be nice.....
I have so many blogs to catch up on....4th of July, Aunt B's wedding, and our Colorado vacation! But first I wanted to catch up on what my two cuties have been doing and a saying! I've inserted a few random pictures in with the updates!
This was Meg before church one Sunday. I tried to get her to wear this dress for Easter because a sweet lady at church gave it to us, but on that morning she refused and said, "Me not like it". I wised up and told her that it was a princess dress and as you can see she decided that, "Me like it". Speaking of clothes....she is very opinionated about what she wears. She wants to pick it out and she changes clothes often throughout the day. Thankfully she has pretty good taste so she walks out of the house looking semi cute most days. She is crazy about her shoes. Good luck getting her to wear shoes that she doesn't want to wear. She really likes her Nike tennis shoes right now and she loves pairing them with dresses. Such a nice look!
They love Rosco! Rosco now sleeps with Brody during any naps he takes and at bedtime. He usually doesn't stay there the whole time but Brody loves it! He is also crazy about his stuffed animals now. His pillow pet, tiger, snake, moose, and a bunny all hang out with him when he watches TV on the couch and when he goes to bed. It's really a lot to keep up with. And don't forget his blanket!

Bryson and I think Brody may grow up to be on informercials! They have lots of these commercials on the HUB channel and the show he loves the most now his Transformers Prime and so he sees lots of commercials for products like pajama jeans, some kind of special lunch containers that keep your food super cold, Baby Can Read dvds, and a special pillow. We love to watch him when they come on. He gets fixated on them and then starts asking us, "Mom wouldn't that be nice. I think you need that pillow." It will help you sleep and it is only $39.99. I hope he listens as good at school as he does to these commercials! He really thinks Meg needs to Baby Can Read dvds. I keep telling him he is the one who needs to learn to read....not Meg!
This little girl continues to give us a run for our money! She was completely potty trained before April. It lasted 2 months and she rarely had accidents. Summer started, she got chicken pox, and she decided forget that. She still goes sometimes but she decided wearing panties wasn't so great. Oh well! She also has turned into an obsessive nail/toenail (yes you read right) biter. At first she wouldn't actually bite her nails and now she has it down. And when she has her nails where there is nothing else to bite she tries to bite mine.
Brody continues to get more comments about his hair. People just can't get over the fact that I haven't done anything to it to make it have all those colors! Orange and brown with a little patch of blonde on top!
I have noticed how much more the two of them are playing together. They are coming up with more games and more pretend activities. It is so sweet to watch them together. One day though they were dancing and Brody decided to pick her up and she had her legs wrapped around him. All was smiles and giggles until Brody tried to dip her. Oops. They both fell, Meg hit her head, Brody landed on top of her, and Meg bit her tongue in the process. All was ok though and we decided that Brody shouldn't be picking up his 34 pound sister anymore!
What a look she is giving Rosco! Brody and Meg love tattooes. It started as a bribe to get Meg to go to the potty and it turned into getting tattooes all the time. Meg loves to do tricks for everyone but before she does it she always says, "Hey everybody look at me!"
This is another one of my favorite pictures. Brody has his own camera and one night when I was rocking her he burst through her door and said, "I need to take a picture of you rocking her". So sweet. You can see Meg likes her stuffed animals too and her blankies. She also loves for me to sing "Hush little baby" nonstop until she goes to sleep. No other song....just that one! And when she gets ready to go to bed she always walks past Bryson and Brody and says, "Night boys" in the cutest two year old voice! I love it! And almost every morning or when Brody goes to wake Meg up from her naps he always says, "Hey sugar". Melt my heart!
