Just a few days after our warm weather fun we had some really cold weather fun! Brody was so excited about the snow and woke up in the middle of the night to check outside to see if had indeed snowed like Gary England told us it would. To him it was as if Santa had come! We were happy to have Bryson home with us on our first snow day. Unfortunately all the crazy people he works with decided to go in the rest of the days so therefore he went in as well!
Bryson scooped us up a bowl full of snow and we made snow ice cream. I had never had it and boy is it yummy!
Later that afternoon we bundled up to brave the bitterly cold temperatures and wind because Brody just couldn't stand to not be out in it!
This girl could've cared less! She didn't have the right gear and would've preferred to stay by the fire.
Bryson and Brody ventured to the backyard because Brody wanted to jump on the trampoline. I still can't believe just how high that snow was!
It's so pretty but I really prefer when the weather is pretty and we can enjoy the outdoors without wearing 5 layers of clothes!
