The hat makes the girl....
Things at the Varner house are still going great. The kids are doing well and I have been doing my best at trying to capture all of the activities on camera.
Everyone knows I love hats and bows! My mom found this hat while we were shopping in Eureka Springs this summer. It is still a little big, but I think it is so cute!
You can tell Meg loves her hat! People are surprised that she doesn't mess with her bows and hats, but she nevers does. Brody never did either!
That yummy thumb again!
One of my favorites
I think most people have heard me talk about my friend Katie and her daughters Kennedy and Finley. They live down the street and Kennedy is just a couple of months younger than Brody and Finley is just three weeks younger than Meg. I am so thankful to have them as friends. Katie is my walking partner and Brody loves playing with Kennedy. I am sure as time goes on Meg and Finley will be good friends too. You can tell they are already fascinated with each other!
I think this picture was taken last Friday by my dad. That was the day that I felt like I was on my death bed. I got so sick at my parent's house and pretty much layed on the bathroom floor all day until they finally drove me and the kids home. Thankfully mom and Kena took care of Meg and that my mom had formula on hand. I couldn't even hold her let alone feed her. I have no idea what it was, but glad it didn't last too long. Check out Brody's outfit. He is all about picking out his clothes now. I probably wouldn't have thought about doing the plaid shorts with a t-shirt, but that is his favorite look and it actually looks pretty good. Katie said he would probably fit in well at any college campus with that look!
Last weekend Brody, Meg, and I went to get Sno Cones. I could tell Meg was fascinated by mine (as she is with anything I eat or drink) and so I thought I would let her have a taste. Well, the girl went crazy and just wanted more and more. Being the nice mom I am I let her have pretty much as much as she wanted. BAD IDEA! She was up so much that night....oops! I didn't even think about all of the sugar. I just thought it probably felt good on her gums. Next time I will get sugar free or maybe just the ice and mix it with apple juice! Lesson learned.
Monday a few of the Kappa Delta girls got together at my friend Amy's house. She has a swimming pool and a great backyard and house that is perfect for kids. I really enjoyed getting to see everyone, especially my friend Charity and her daughter Mary Katherine. Unfortunately I didn't get too many good pictures. But this is Meg crashed out!
